My violin is a handcrafted replica of a Stradivarius. The subtle curves, fine wood grain enhanced by its light varnished finish really beautifies this instrument. The beauty of this violin also extends to its sound. When played the sound has a warm resonance that adds to its elegance

B: Building of Inspiration

Norman Foster is an architect that has inspired me to become an architect with his use of steel and glass. However it was seeing his transformation of the Reichstag in Berlin that initially inspired me, contrasting the old classical stone structure of the building and the modern use of steel and glass in the dome viewing deck

A: Creative Work

This creative piece was the final assessment for my diploma of Architectural Technology. My design for this building was inspired by minimalist architecture, from the likes of Mies Van de Roche. The materials chosen for this project were chosen to create a contrast in textures and colour.
